Created in a humble, private studio in Ridgeville, SC. 'Mud' aims to portray the blossom of a flower from the mud of the world. The perfect beauty of imperfection. With this theme, each song was recorded just as they are played by Joshua as a solo performer. That is, each song was recorded as guitar and vocal and all accompaniment was added later.
A delightfully honest and modest approach to organic songwriting. All sounds were achieved using simple, traditional instruments. The sounds of flutes are that of home made PVC flutes and didgeridoo-like creations.

From the mud of our imperfections we grow. Diverse and insightful.
